What methods of payment do you accept for rent?

We accept: 

  • Cash - paid directly at our office
  • Cheque - Payable at our office or at your building's Superintendent's office
  • Certified Cheque or Money Order
  • Pre-Authorized Debit

How to inquire further on an apartment for rent?

In order to rent an apartment, you must see the apartment first. To do so, please check our Apartments for Rent page for the contact number of the specific building you would like to visit. Please ask to speak to the Superintendent to book your appointment to view the apartment and they will be glad to help you.

How do I apply for an apartment for rent?

After visiting an apartment and you are interested in renting it, you can either apply online or at our head office. You can find an online application under the apartment's page you are interested in applying for, or you can pick one up at our office.  We will also need a security deposit and first month rent to place the apartment on hold while your application is being processed.

For the deposit, we accept cash, money order or certified cheque, or an email transfer. 

 

What is required when applying?

We will need a completed application with your contact information, previous Landlord References and Employment History, as well as an Emergency Contact. If you are unable to provide references, you will need a Guarantor to co-sign your lease in order to apply and get approved.

You will also need to provide the security deposit and first month rent in order to secure the apartment.  

How long is the lease for?

All leases are minimum 12 month leases.  If for any reason you need to leave before the 12 months is up, you will need to sublet the apartment or apply for a lease assignment. Once your 12 month lease has expired, you can renew on a month-to-month basis or provide 60 day written notice of termination. 

How to provide a notice of vacating?

This needs to be done in writing, email or signed written letter, and sent to the Head Office. Please make sure your name, apartment number and dates of vacating are provided on the letter. 

Is there parking available?

Yes indoor and outdoor parking is available for an extra charge at most of our buildings. 

How do I file a request or complaint?

Please complete a work order under the Maintenance Request tab. If the repair is not handled within a reasonable amount of time, please contact the Head Office directly. 

Are pets permitted in the apartment?

Yes, however there are certain conditions that must be adhered to in order to keep a pet in the apartment. There should be no complaints from other tenants in the building.

When do the apartments become available for rent?

Apartments are listed for rent 2 months in advance.
